PURE HELL was the first Black punk band. They lasted from 1974-1979, but a falling out with their manager meant their record didn’t come out until 2010. I gave it a listen:

ProPublica recently published heart-wrenching letters from children at Dilley. ICE then raided the dormitories to confiscate and destroy those letters. I've filed a Freedom of Information Act Request.

Fitness today:

Went to the gym!

Used the leg weight machine for ten minutes.

Lifted handheld weights for ten minutes.

Walked back and forth to the gym, adding about another ten minutes.

Now I am sweaty! That's a good sign.

I am feeling a little better after I ate dinner. It was a vegan double cheeseburger. :) Two Boca burgers, two slices of wheat bread, and a piece of Good Planet cheddar. Tasted good.

Now I'm watching a TV show called "Black Cake." It's on Hulu. It's pretty good.
