The ugly truth about cancer is people expect you to either beat it or die of it. When you’re in advanced stages, a third condition called chronic cancer means you’re in a constant state of battle, and people don’t like that sort of mess. So you fight on while they slink away. Don’t be that friend.

Despite many appearances to the contrary, there are still thousands of journalists with the kind of integrity and bravery we haven’t seen in our own government since before Nixon. Press on, piggies. Press on.
I mean, look, I'm not a reporter, so who am I to talk?

But on a day where the president both just called a woman reporter "Piggy" and is celebrating someone who had people bone saw apart one of my colleagues, I might just be a little ready to defend my colleagues and profession.

But that's just me

And this is why I don’t trust the Epstein files to be released without major doctoring by the DOJ. They haven’t functioned as an independent agency under Trump and they’ll never disobey his orders.
The Department of Justice (DOJ) quietly shared state voter-registration data with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), despite earlier assurances to state election officials that the information would only be used for routine voter-list maintenance. Beginning in May 2025, DOJ

Well then, what do you know. Guess it helps to have your people vote on the subject vs. cramming it down their throats.

In normal times, it would be a major scandal for the President to direct his AG to criminally investigate his political opponents to deflect from his own involvement in a major scandal — and for the AG to immediately announce she is doing it. The Epstein scandal and cover up just got even bigger.

So after a full year of his administration having access to the Epstein files, and after pressure mounts for Congress to finally release them, Trump then assigns a prosecutor to “look into” Democratic ties to Epstein? Know what that means? They’re not already in the files, like he always claimed.

Considering the software for those machines was breached by data firms hired by Trump’s lawyers in 2021 (reported by WaPost, NYTimes, AP, so it’s not misinformation), this is long overdue. None of our election systems should have partisan ownership. Or commercial IMO.

And they are all Trump supporters

The mental gymnastics happening on Fox today are otherworldly. “Epstein only had sex with teenagers, not 8 year olds, so it’s not THAT bad.” (Yes it is.) All to detract from the fact Trump was still chummy with a known pedo while he was president and more than a decade after he said he cut him off.

If the Supreme Court even considers taking this on, they’ll be spitting in the faces of all survivors of sexual assault, all of Epstein’s victims, all the women who’ve been brave enough to step forward and demand justice. Don’t take this away from them. Don’t let him get away with another crime.

YOU are what we voted AGAINST last Tuesday. So I'm gonna hang on to that.
