PSA: if your a doctor with a complex patient who you don't know how to help... it takes the same amount of time to say "I'm sorry I don't know how to help but please reach out to your specialist for xyz support" as it does to gaslight and shame your patient for asking for help in the first place.

Reached out to pcp for support because its been weeks of <900kcal/day while breastfeeding. Multiple syncope events, collapse, 14.5 liters of IV fluids in 3 weeks, 5 ER visits, one OP stay & progressive weakness. Pcp replies that I've "had enough labs and imaging and nothing is seriously wrong". 🙄
