This sidewalk is still closed, 2 months later. We are not a serious city.

took the lane on gallatin running yesterday in front of the new whataburger. disgusting that we allow developers to destroy the sidewalk without fixing it the next day or something. in montreal if this was the case, they'd mark off the right lane as a sidewalk until the sidewalk is open again.

The Downtown Partnership ruins everything.

I have wanted to learn to play the piano since I was a little kid, but there were no options for our family.

So I had hoped to check out a full sized keyboard from the library and try to learn with videos.

But they blew up our library.

Guardrails much? "The existence of access by out of state agencies, without the City's awareness, that circumvented the protections we purposefully built and believed were in place is frankly unacceptable to me and to the dedicated people of the MVPD."
Mountain View CA Police Chief Mike Canfield has suspended ALPR usage due to data being accessed by outside agencies.

Always great to see honest, frank leadership on tough issues.

Where can I read state code for free without having to go section by section? I thought I had a place or doc in the past but I can't find it.

As a bike commuter it’s really appalling how often you witness drivers operating 2 ton motor vehicles while scrolling on their phone as if they were on the couch. How is this so common? How did we let it get this bad?

The Titans gave Nashville $250k to help people behind on their rent or mortgage because of the ice storm, accessed through the Metro Action Commission. 8000 more gifts and we'll have recouped the money we put out for the stadium! #housingfund #rooftopnashville #legalaidnashville

Emergency fare suspension fund is very much a compromise position and really should not be controversial.

We’ve been talking about this for years. Let’s do it.

If accessibility disappears after a snowstorm then there was never really accessibility to begin with. Winter reveals so much about who our cities prioritize.
Snowstorms are more than just an inconvenience for wheelchair users. Inadequate snow clean-ups means a loss of autonomy for many. New for me at @motherjones.com www.motherjones.com/politics/202...

There's so relative few people here for pre-budget public comment. If you can make it to the historic court house before six, you've got a good chance to sign up.

WeGo should not still be on snow routes, the roads are completely clear. In fact, they have been clear aince Saturday. WeGo is leaving school kids waiting in the cold, that's not okay.
