Emergency fare suspension fund is very much a compromise position and really should not be controversial.

We’ve been talking about this for years. Let’s do it.

If accessibility disappears after a snowstorm then there was never really accessibility to begin with. Winter reveals so much about who our cities prioritize.
Snowstorms are more than just an inconvenience for wheelchair users. Inadequate snow clean-ups means a loss of autonomy for many. New for me at @motherjones.com www.motherjones.com/politics/202...

There's so relative few people here for pre-budget public comment. If you can make it to the historic court house before six, you've got a good chance to sign up.

WeGo should not still be on snow routes, the roads are completely clear. In fact, they have been clear aince Saturday. WeGo is leaving school kids waiting in the cold, that's not okay.

Hey people who aren’t in Nashville: The power is still out for a lot of people. (Day 8, give it up for day 8!) The temps are still below freezing. The alleged president still hasn’t approved our disaster declaration so we can’t get any help from whatever is left of FEMA. Send money.

We're one week of a city being shut down for Nashvillians becoming homeless.
In America today, millions of people are just one medical bill, one missed paycheck, one rent hike away from becoming homeless.

THERE IS NO PLACE FOR US will be out in paperback on March 3.

One cool idea would be for every resident to chip in a little bit—we could call the money “taxes”—and then spend it on things like “infrastructure” instead of billionaires who want to build stadiums or move their headquarters.
