Six-winged god of llamas. Green. Conjunx Endura of @jobot935.bsky.social . Many Bothans died and many rich idiots showed their asses to bring you these... bleats? Which are all his own. Ofc. He/him.

Shut up, buy the tickets and clap, fan boy!

But yes, I share all of your criticisms. This all feels so hollow and desperately propped up by nothing but nostalgia. I could be surprised - and hope I am - but I am not optimistic.

File under the ever-growing subgenre of my work which I’m calling ‘Inanimate Object Has A Massive Go At A Person For No Reason’

I kicked myself first time watching that, having completely forgotten about Talia Al Ghul.

Also I totally didn’t notice that the first time you see her during that sequence she’s clearly wearing Bad Guy Ninja Gear, thanks to everything else that was a going on. A nice little… prestige… there.

He’s a billionaire - he simply pulled himself up by his bootstraps.

Yeah, that one’s always bothered me. I mean, sure, have his assets frozen whilst they figure it out, but for it all to be gone doesn’t make a massive amount of sense. Especially given that we know that in the real world rich guys can never lose, and can get away with anything…

By the power of Earl Greyskull, there has been a little rain overnight! The snow is lessening! The White Witch's hold on these lands is weakening! Aslan is here! Not that I'm staying around for any thinly-veiled sermons mind you - I'm off home! (After lunch.)

Yeah, that is… a choice. Like I get why they made the choice (they wanted to do part of The Dark Knight Returns but without any of the leg work), but it doesn’t quite work.

But filmed over Scotland, which already makes it infinitely better.

Ah, I thought I’d missed you covering this in the holiday churn. Unfortunately I should already be asleep, so no hot takes for me tonight. Which is fortunate, because they would be incredibly painful… for you.

And anyone else reading them.

Out of curiosity, what do you count as the final scene? On account of the X-Men films having an odd continuity, and all the spin-off films that came after. Personally I like to think that the end of Days Of Futures Past is the end, but there are plenty of reasons for it to not be…

I mean, she was going to leave/retire/etc at some point anyway. And nothing's going to convince idiots with firmly-held beliefs that they were wrong. Nevertheless, I can't say I'm looking forward to the discourse...

Nnng. I still think he's capable of making good things, he just needs constraints or oversight. This will provide neither. Worse, it will just reinforce the beliefs of certain segments of the fanbase that they were right about Kennedy...

Realising I've pretty much neglected to post snow pictures from the last few days, mostly on account of being distracted by concerns of how and when we're going to escape, so here's sunset from a couple of days ago.

That is exactly what I look like right now, after several days of being snowed in, yes.

Oh yeah, cool. Giving actual supervillains access to the NHS AND the MoD. Brilliant.

Mind when Streeting won his seat by 500 votes over an independent? People in his own constituency barely want him, and now he just has absolute power to hand over all our shit to Sauron.

Now that Jayces is out I figured it would be a good time to use #TrekTuesday to highlight some of the brilliant art and artists featured in Jayce’s Fighting Ships of Wolf 359.

*Well kind of

*It started snowing on Thursday, not Saturday

I’m doing fine. Absolutely fine. Can you tell..?

That was built by the friend we’re staying with. Sadly I have to work, so I just had to sit here and watch through the window as they built it. (Although it is lucky I can work remotely.) Played in the snow plenty at the weekend though, so I’m good. :-)

If I’d been on my own I might have chanced it at the weekend, and just been ready to live with any delays or detours (routes have been BAD). But given I lost a car in similar conditions 13 years back, and I’ve got the Scraplet and Conjunx with me, I’ve decided to play it safe.

We’ll kind of. We came up to our friends’ in Aberdeenshire for New Year’s last Tuesday, with a plan for going home on Friday or Saturday. It started snowing on Saturday, and… here we still are. Were hoping to leave today, but no, more snow on the route home. Tomorrow is looking better…

(These being my previous workings. As you'll be bored to death of by now. But maybe if I repeat them enough then someone from New Line will get in touch! To tell me to please stop.)

Sunday evening musings, inspired by my watch of Fellowship of the Ring last night. Everyone knows that the timeline in the film is condensed compared to the books - but is it really as much as is generally thought? I don't think so. 1/23 (Yes, really. What am I doing..?)
