It would be an interesting exercise to try, while walking around in Elon's body, repairing as much of Elon's life as possible. Some interpersonal things might be tractable. I don't know to what extent it's possible to extricate oneself from a structural position like his though.
Trading places with Elon would be like waking up as a cockroach and the worst part is that you would have traded away your knowledge of Kafka and the literary grounding to make sense of said experience.

Eagerly awaiting part 3 of Event Horizon: Dark Descent, which beyond the obvious "we're going to show you all the really sick stuff they cut out of the movies" draw has been successfully coagulating a feeling of suffusing dread. I don't quite understand why I want to enter into that space though.

I love a good high-concept series, and I worship the ground upon which Rhea Seehorn walks, so today is a good day.

Kyle Kingsbury is not a journalist. He is not an op-ed writer.
He is a computer safety researcher.
And he has written one of the most compelling, comprehensive accounts of the ongoing hell in Chicago that you could possibly imagine.
In under 1600 words.

Sora 2 has clearly not understood the assignment here
"Leto II, God Emperor of Dune, is frustrated at his inability to use chopsticks to eat the delicious sushi Hwi Noree has prepared for him"

I keep squinting at this going "do I really mean this or am I comically exaggerating my own position", and coming down on the side of "I really mean this"
By AE’s own account the IGC acts to impede mimetic snowballing, which seems to me a worthy and satisfying goal, because people’s herd behaviour sucks and those who succumb should be obstructed from receiving the payoffs of their disgusting disindividuation
being an in-group contrarian in small doses is healthy but i've never seen anyone that does it more than that who was happy

What else have I been up to? Making audio plugins - a deliberately retro 8-bit phase distortion oscillator, and a "clean" version that uses much higher precision arithmetic to eliminate the noise I deliberately introduced in the first vulpuslabs.com

I basically restarted this account because the name “k-punk demon hunter” occurred to me during the day and I wanted to use it for something
