Don't blame me: I'm one of the 1,843,124 people who voted Green, and particularly proud I didn't vote for Shabana Mahmood.
One of the people of Beorma and a bit sweary.
Member of the Green Party but my views are all mine.

In my pursuit of @greenparty.org.uk history I've been reading the original PEOPLE party's Manifesto for Survival from 1974.
It already includes some familiar items like no whip, localism and UBI, which it calls the National Income.

I think the Green Party can arrange that for them…
Labour Would Rather Lose Elections Than Give an Inch to the Left | Ash Sarkar
Manchester mayor Andy Burnham might actually have a chance of saving Labour from itself, which is exactly why Keir Starmer won’t give him a chance, argues Ash Sarkar.

Lidl here not quite showing the upbeat Longsight in front of us.

Doorstep responses:
- "Labour have had their day. They took us for granted"
- "Reform have to be stopped"
- "Greens get us"

Game on!

I love how someone thought that going to the press with "we'll stitch him up with some fake shit" was a good idea & at no point did anyone say "best you keep that quiet, because it makes us look like cunts and hurts Jews by showing Antisemitism is just used as a weapon against people we don't like".

"You meet your fate on the path you take to avoid it" is a phrase I've found myself thinking about a succession of parties & politicians on the UK right in the last few years.

No-one has ever embodied it quite like Starmer, though. A zealot, clinging to the wreckage of his beliefs even as it sinks.
Starmer plans to attack the only Jewish party leader over antisemitism.

He wants to attack Zack Polanski for challenging Britain's role as lapdog to Donald Trump.

What does this tell us?

Labour is very rattled - and they absolutely should be.

What an absolute shambles.
If my party is serious about anti-racism: implement the Forde recommendations, adopt the APPG’s definition of Islamophobia, address disproportionate poverty rates and poor health outcomes.

Do not cynically deploy an all-BAME shortlist to shut down party democracy. Offensive and politically weak.

Labour are low in the polls and hard on the country.

Fair play to whichever special advisor has written Keir a bit of a snarky line. Maybe Keir could take that energy to Trump on the warpath or the billionaire bosses ruining this country?
