The lessons we learned from Captain America are timeless.
I think that if (not holding my breath) ICE actually draws down here in MN, it’s because ICE accomplished its main goal which was terrorizing a blue state, AND the media was getting bored with MN’s occupation. No longer good tv and shitposting fodder.

Trying to come up with something that was made in the last 20 years that has been a net positive and I’ve drawn a blank

So the guy not mentioned in the Epstein Files 38,000 times needs to be investigated?
Free speech everybody.

No one likes to talk about the fact that Robert Kraft’s solicitation charges went away, and that was the Trump first term corruption which almost seems quaint now

Believe it or not, kids, people used to just not like something and carried on with their day without having a full scale meltdown about it

I don’t want to depress you all but the entire media and political class will have moved on from this latest Trump racist outburst by tomorrow, Monday at the very latest. He gets away with it every time - because he is allowed to get away with it, and because he floods the zone.

The other question that would be asked if we had an even halfway functional media or government is: “Who is the Epstein now?” It’s not like these monsters said “Welp, party’s over, he’s dead now” nor did the people financing Epstein’s blackmail operation just give up on their influence through him
The media’s lack of intellectual curiosity around Epstein is infuriating. No investigation into where his money came from. He didn’t appear to ever work and based on his emails he seemed quite stupid and devoid of any discernible talent, yet he was one of the most powerful people on the planet

I think we all need to abandon the whole “respect for the Office” thing for just a little bit here. A lot of problems can be solved if more people told the rancid turds in this administration to piss off
This is really suspicious. They’re up to something.

Democratic strategy meeting:
“What if we were to offer them something as a gesture of good faith?
“That hasn’t worked the last 3,287 times we’ve tried it.”
“But I have a really good feeling about this one. And voters will remember 10 months from now how reasonable we were being and reward us!”

Chuck Schumer is the kind guy who finds someone dying of thirst and gives him a wet nap to wipe the sweat off his face.
Democrats want commonsense reform for ICE:

End the roving patrols and racial profiling.

Take accountability and abide by the same rules as local police.

Masks need to come off, body cameras need to stay on—no secret police in the United States of America.

That the Epstein files contained a lot of influential, powerful, and wealthy people, but there were plenty of the same kind of people missing from them is important to remember when certain people claim ignorance of his horrific crimes

Better be getting body cameras so we can watch them go the unemployment line
This should have been the case long before they killed two Americans.

Border patrol agents should never have been sent in masks and camo to wreak havoc and aimlessly run around a state 1,500 miles from the Southern border.

Every Homeland Security officer in Minneapolis is now being issued a body-worn camera, Noem says
The secretary of Homeland Security is requiring that all officers on the ground in Minneapolis wear body cameras.

As much as I hate AI, I don’t think there’s a bubble burst coming just because we’ve learned that there are people who have so much money, they can sustain something for eternity no matter how terrible it is and how much the rest of us hate it

A formalized (and burdensome) immigration process is relatively recent, immigrants just showed up and stayed until 1920. Most citizens cannot point to an ancestor who went through a formalized naturalization process, so if birthright citizenship isn’t a thing, then most of us have a plane to catch.

For the last decade, we’ve been asking if there’s a bottom for Trump voters and apparently it was watching a Melania documentary
January 30, 2026 at 3:40 PM
By Monday, we’ll have confirmation that the Melania doc was just a bribe by Bezos to Trump. If he’s not ranting about its poor performance saying the box office was rigged or some such nonsense, it means he never cared bc he got what he wanted out of it

My hot take is that we need a sane, decent party for conservatism because we don’t have that right now, and it has essentially forced us into voting for Democrats whose sole virtue seems to be not being a psychopath
