Possibly a head started bird? @wadertales.bsky.social
Colour-ringed Curlew at Teesmouth today - any ideas what project may have done this? I’ve looked on Eu-ring but find it hard to interpret. Seems a lot of rings for one bird!

My neighbours had all their outdoor lights on tonight, which lit up my boy beautifully for this shot I grabbed after a late finish at the workshop.
Still looking as fresh as the day I painted him ✨️

Are there mycologists or publishers out there who need a Mycological illustration artist?

This is the only place I’d even ask this question. 😁

Putting it out in the world that I’d love to take on a detailed project & illustrate a fungi book!

Willing to build a portfolio if this is a possibility ⬇️

It’s Halloween 👻 time for spooky fun! But remember: fake spider webs can trap and harm birds, bats & other wildlife. 🕸️
Keep your decorations safe by skipping webbing on trees & bushes. Let’s keep the scares fake, not fatal. 🦇🌿 #WildlifeFriendlyHalloween
