Realistic trauma recovery starts by just noticing, without shame or judgment (that part's important), how often we reflexively try to cram ourselves into an identity that doesn't fit us just because someone else expects or desires us to "be" that person.

Time is your one finite commodity. Attention is one aspect of your time and they want it.
But it’s yours. Even with ADHD, or even more so, our time and attention are precious.
Oh and a little electrical tape over a camera lens you aren’t using goes a long way.

Consider going analog gaming or legacy consoles, writing esp journaling, music, movies on dedicated non-net enabled old school devices. Pick up offline hobbies. They’re working so hard to monetize our attention and limit our choices and enjoyment. Screw them.

I find it laughable that T is saying NYers will flee to FL because people have been fleeing to FL (and NC etc) for years.
Maybe some will. More housing for the rest of us. But if we make it more affordable people will also move here. How many would flee TO New York?
