I did synchronized swimming for 10+ years and was so addicted to this song I tried to pitch a Shinedown themed show. Never happened but it really is so beautiful www.youtube.com/watch?v=WbsD...

fellow engineers,

you really need to start asking yourself some questions when building something:

1. how will the police use what i'm making?
2. what kinds of people are the police going to use it against?
3. how many people will be harmed in silence before we find out?

It's sad how many times you talk with women who have stopped something they loved and how many times it's often because of a creep in their industry. Things have to get better

In his show “The Last Dyes,” the photographer presents a world that feels fictional but fact-based.

The aurora last night in Beaver, Alaska was just incredible. This is a real-time video (not sped up) of the crazy motion I saw. Also, look how BRIGHT it is, wow!

If you’re feeling helpless amidst the ongoing horrors being perpetrated by ICE… engage in mutual aid.

Donate to someone in need. Give to a community library or food bank.

You could also help Rodney Taylor, a disabled double amputee who’s been held by ICE for a year.

His story is often forgotten:
Help Rodney Taylor, a Disabled Double Amputee Being Held by ICE
Rodney has been in the country more than 40 years. He's in solitary confinement in Georgia, being denied disability accommodations and having his medical needs ignored. He must be released.

One of worst things I've done. Every few weeks I get a text from a different French friend at Dunkin in Paris 😬

If you have an unread copy of Let This Radicalize You lying around, this would be an excellent time to read Chapter 6: “Violence” in Social Movements. It's also a good time to share that chapter with others.

Know passport stamps have steadily become less popular over past few decades, but if curious... here's my experience in past year:

- Frankfurt airport has always stamped at arrival and departure
- London stamped departing St Pancras train station to Belgium
- Rome airport stamped at departure
