They’re deporting US Army veterans.

They say if they’re undocumented, they must go.

Such a selfish group of human beings.

They consider undocumented immigrants “good enough” to go to war and possibly die for the country, but not good enough to avoid deportation.

Ghouls.

American workers just took home their smallest share of the nation's wealth since 1947 — even as corporate profits soar.

Why? This chart has the answer.

It's so weird that I can't stop thinking about the 1987 movie "Matewan" with James Earl Jones and David Strathairn about working-class people standing up against private corporations who employ death squads to rob them of their rights and dignity.

It's a mystery.

Why this movie?

Why now?

I dunno

The nation already owes you a great deal, Marc.
If you hear someone saying that they hope lawyers are ready to go to court to protect free and fair elections, I suggest you let them know that my law firm is already litigating more than 80 voting and election cases in 40 states.

NEW: A federal judge in Oregon issued a sweeping rebuke of the Justice Department’s nationwide push to seize state voter rolls, ruling that the department can no longer be presumed to be acting in good faith and warning that its conduct threatens voters and states’ rights.
Federal judge rules DOJ can ‘no longer’ be trusted in voter roll crusade
The judge pointed to a letter from Bondi to Minnesota that tied federal immigration enforcement to demands for voter data as the smoking gun.

No joke: I got angry hate mail today for writing an obituary of a Black woman scientist—because the person felt she did didn’t deserve the recognition.

Which just makes me want to share it again: www.nature.com/articles/d41...

It seems as though almost all Republicans, and a few Democrats, put their short-term personal gain ahead of their country's interests. This is the root cause of our governmental failure.

We have got to be more careful about vetting the people we vote for. And to make damn sure we actually vote.
