This shit is beyond the pale. They are out of control. Guy is literally a war hero. two Distinguished Flying Crosses, Legion of Merit, among many others. 39 combat missions in the Gulf War. He should challenge Wasted Pete to a carrier landing competition.
This Is Not Who We Are™️
The Trump administration is abusing the military justice system to target its political opponents. A despicable new low for a group that strives everyday to find the moral bottom.

Legit one of the funniest things I have read in a long time.

Imagine being some sovereign wealth fund that gave this guy billions to invest in AI and slowly realizing he sunk the whole thing into making a personal simpbot.

From this minister's op-ed: "People wanting to experience God are more likely to meet the Divine trying to shut down the Broadview, Illinois, ICE facility than we ever were in church...God does not live in our houses of worship, but...with those who are bearing the brunt of cruelty in this moment."

Yeah it's that simple: OpenAI needs to build 3GW of data center capacity, which will cost over $100bn, and they need to do so in around a year. All three of these deals are based on unreleased chips too. Where the hell is the press on this?

Eventually somebody has to actually get paid with these endless IOUs circulating, right? All these companies are being paid in fake scrip, but like, the rest of the world deals in real money, not Altman Farts. When does this stop?

Maybe cat fishing will be a good way for them to shake enough money out of people to show the cash burn a little

this is a reference to when Elon Musk repeatedly insisted that Vern Unsworth (the guy who rescued the under water trapped soccer team) was a pedophile. One of his rationale was because he was in Thailand.
elon musk: the only reason any westerner might have for living in thailand is pedophile sex tourism

also elon musk: there might be any number of reasons for visiting little saint james island that have nothing to do with anything unsavory, from the pristine beaches to the intellectual fellowship

Elon's entire thing is manipulating public perception. He literally sells "Full Self-Driving" that isn't actually self-driving, and has gotten away with it for years. That's not being good at technology, that is being good at manipulating public perception.
One problem with being on Twitter is that Elon Musk constantly rejigs the site to push his views. He cannot be sidelined when he owns the underlying system. His manipulation of the Twitter AI to match his views illustrates this point.

uh, so if I have this right, Tesla sent a Cybertruck owner a cease and desist for rapping about the truck, and then deactivated said truck on the side of the road until he signed it??

fascinating.

The "paint it black" video was notoriously misleading as it appeared to come from a single cut and that's how it was implied when it ran.

It was a faked full self driving video, released 9 years ago.
DMV is once again asking Tesla's counsel to stipulate that substantially similar versions of the "paint it black" video have existed on the FOD page across the relevant time period. Tesla doesn't want to discuss it in front of the witness, so the cross-ex continues and this will be hashed out later.

Averaging 10 miles per day according to the earnings call.

They're trying to expand (to promote the stock) while barely operating the cars (to avoid further incidents)
Tesla’s Bozotaxi fleet has been averaging 10 miles a day. 10 miles in Texas gets you nowhere. More likely, they stopped operating after the 24 hour youtuber telethon.

“Struggles t regain its footing”. The thing is shrinking and still trades at 150x earnings, and they may start losing money soon. It has a $1 trillion market cap. The “footing” is about $15 per share.

Tesla is now doing all of the things that Elon Musk and the Tesla Cult constantly criticized actual Robotaxi companies for.

- being limited to daytime operations
- being geofenced
- mapping the area
- avoiding difficult routes
- requiring a supervisor in the car.
