Seeing the debates about how Australian power bills are so expensive, here’s a really simple explanation as to why..
It’s being driven by huge infrastructure upgrades to meet current and futures demands on ‘the grid’. 🧵1

What a terrible waste of life. 😭😭
🧪I have seen the mainstreamness of alternative medicine in india, and guessed it was partly spiritual reason, partly due to the basic unreachability (money, infra, ...) of "advanced" medical care. But in US... ? Is this "medical freedom movement" such a thing to basicaly end in mass killings ?
“after a median of five years, patients with breast or colorectal cancer who chose alternative care over conventional care for their initial treatment were nearly five times as likely to die.”

Just a quick reminder of life before Vaccinations.
One in 2 children died before the age of 15 years.
Average life span was 47.3 years.
Those who survived some of these diseases were permanently incapacitated. Eg. Brain damage, blind, maimed. 💉

I know this first hand. When I was a child, my entire community was branded as spies and sabateurs, justifying our internment inside barbed wire camps for years without due process, trial or charge.

What a nightmare. 😢
Reading the thread makes my heart hurt.
Big day in Concord (aren't they all), with the education, bail reform, civil rights, and more on the docket.

No one. NO ONE thinks Australia will ever get any subs.

The ALP just agreed to it to prevent being wedged, which was bad policy and bad politics.

Because this would have been the easiest policy to slap the Libs with.

But… sigh.

Dump policies are dumb politics

when Elon Musk started recruiting for DOGE last November, he said the work would be “tedious” and “compensation is zero"

now it turns out some DOGE operatives are earning six-figure salaries, one as high as $195,200, as much as a civil servant can legally make

Some DOGE Staffers Are Drawing Six-Figure Government Salaries
Engineers and executives at the so-called Department of Government Efficiency are drawing healthy taxpayer-funded salaries—sometimes from the very agencies they are cutting.
