I think it’s important to point out: ICE does NOT have the same authority as a police officer. They do NOT have the power to enforce laws, only to engage in their specific tasks.
IE: they don’t do traffic, etc. impeding traffic is not a penalty ICE can enforce against

How do you explain to 4 year olds at 4 in the morning that the emotions you, their parent, are struggling to manage are caused by senseless murder done by the very ppl elected/hired to protect those whose life has been stolen?

He didn't shoot her in the head at point blank range because he felt like he was in danger. He shot her in the head at point blank range because he was furious that she wasn't afraid of him. He shot her in the head at point blank range because he felt emasculated.

I still question about why ICE needs to be geared up as though they were being dropped into an active war zone when they are, in fact, walking through neighborhoods.
Where are all the violent gang members I keep hearing about? Where is the justification for armed presence in US cities?

We should be ashamed and embarrassed to be a society in which people will willingingly, actively, point a loaded gun in the face of a fellow citizen.

Hard to watch that video of the interaction and not walkway with confirmation that this was an unreasonable use of deadly forces…and yet so many are quick to grasp on to any justification for the killing.

Yeah, this is why piecing the evidence soberly matters. To me, these guys escalated things at every turn, unnecessarily. It is possible they saw a couple of unbothered women and decided to teach them a lesson through fear. The panic they intentionally created then is used to “justify” the shooting.
If you listen you can hear the other lady that was filming say "Renee! He has a gun!" right before the shots and then the vehicle driving off. This is just awful but in my humble opinion completely exonerates her.

We evacuated our kids out of Minneapolis this weekend and my spouse reports that as she drove them out of town she saw "multiple freeway exits where people are being pulled over." It feels like the Twin Cities is being subjugated by a hostile occupying force.
