The face of a wood leopard moth, Zeuzera pyrina.

I think it looks pretty adorable and friendly :)

Scare footman moth, Eilema complana, I believe. :)

Contrary to what some of the internet seems to think, not all moths are fluffy with big hairy antenna. There are many, like this species, that do not look like that.

Wildlife belongs in the wild, not hung up on walls as decoration 🦇🦇

That's why we're urging #Amazon to stop selling painted woolly #bats so their populations can again flourish in the wild — where they belong.

Big fan of Notiophilus, such a weird looking genus of ground beetles.

The big eyes they have makes them look adorable in my opinion. :)

Rant:
I'm starting to get really sick and tired of people calling non human animals "evil".

Just because a species might act a certain way we as humans find unacceptable, it doesn't mean the animal is evil. This is just projecting human qualities onto other species-

I have no idea where the original drawings went so I only have this photo of them for now sadly.

But anyways, I really like these, doodled them in class once because I got bored.

This is genuinely a terrible idea and I don't see how this would benefit users at all.

This is Walter. He is an unspecified species of stick grasshopper, Proscopiidae.

I don't think I've ever shared him before here so here he is in all his glory.

It’s true. Honey bees are livestock and their issues are well understood by scientists. Native pollinator issues however need much greater attention and focus. We are only now beginning to understand how honey bees impact native plant-pollinator interactions.

One of my favorite photos from last year- a male Tettigonia viridissima, great green bush cricket.

The photo came out so well I'm so happy with it, you can see all the little details on the wings and abdomen. :D
