Gonna try to go through my back catalog and share a photo of the day as a pleasant thing to have on the timeline.

This is from a hike I did on the Ben Tyler trail a couple of months ago.

I have learned today that Portland has six quadrants.

Keep Portland Innumerate, apparently.

I have... Opinions about Polis, but I am going to say that ending his ultimate State of the State will Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy is the kinda thing I unabashedly dig.

Secretary Noem must be impeached.

She has obstructed Congressional oversight, directly violated a court order, violated public trust, and engaged in corruption to enrich herself and close associates. She must be held accountable.

Here’s a comment for the people who are upset that MN hasn’t charged Jonathan Ross already:

If you just Leeeroy Jenkins this shit you will lose and you will empower fascism and murder.

It is indescribably hard to prosecute cops for murder. It is even hard when the murder is ON VIDEO.

You should read this. It’s one of my favourite comics at the moment, and there’s plenty to get caught up on.
Bluesky pals! I have a sci-fi graphic novel called DRIVE, & it's my favorite thing I've ever done! If you need a long, escapist read at the moment the entire thing is free to read, here: drivecomic.com

I just called @degette.house.gov 's office and talked with a staffer (on the first ring, no less!). She supports Noem's impeachment, the comms team is just lagging a bit.

Call your reps, yo. It's a thing to do that makes you feel good and encourages real action from those with power.

It's possible that there could be more than corn in Indiana.

And yes, I did that so everyone who lived there will finish the rest of the jingle in their head.

Andor deserves all the flowers it's gotten. But I'm gonna say that Daredevil: Born Again is also a great show that's suitable for the moment.

Tried to do an Indiana-Jones-esque jumping swing over a waist-high metal gate with the decorative metal ribbon on top. The horizontal plank on the arch over the gate was loose, shifted, and I feel straight down onto the ribbon. Peeled a 1"x12" strip of skin straight off of my shin.
What's the most ridiculous way you ever hurt yourself? I got out of the tub, skidded in water and tripped over the toilet. Ankle sprain.

Okay, got a new phrase I wanna test out: "The Denver Clothesline"

It's when people are walking their dog on one side of the street/path and the leash goes all the way to the other side, tripping anyone walking/running/biking by.

Look, yes, everything sucks. But I just pulled out my K1000 yesterday and found 3 rolls of super expired and improperly stored Velvia 50 that I get to play around with. And you know what? I'm pretty stoked about that.
