Oh no there's British food be bad discourse going on, and it's so very very tiring. Food discourse in general is the worst. Just accept that some people like some things, others like other things. It's fine. Just let it go.

Still can't believe my luck that I got to meet some of these big lovely chunkers last year. They're the cutest.

There have been so many games with fantastic music over the decades, but none have surpassed the original Unreal's soundtrack.
This place needs some Innocuous Discourse pronto. Quote this with a take that’s not political or aggressive

I fear that once more London will be cruelly cheated out of snow during this cold snap, and it is not on I tell you!

Ahh, so the old Confederacy dream of the Golden Circle is alive and well in 2026.

Starting this year in the way I mean to go on: by eating a frankly irresponsible amount of cheese.

I missed that yesterday was #NationalScienceFictionDay, but it is still the Year of Reading, so here's a sci-fi book you can read right now. It stars a group of little aliens as they try to escape Earth. amzn.eu/d/64UYKIU

"Aah, you were at my side, all along. My true mentor. My guiding moonlight..." I whisper in awe as I dig out my thermal leggings from the deepest recesses of my closet.

I've not posted about it here but earlier this year I started doing more drawing in a sketchbook. No purpose just something for myself. But it's always nice to see and show progress. These are about 6 months apart. Obviously lots of room for improvement but enjoying it with no pressure.

Dreamed I was in a Popeye game, and the Popeye theme music was playing, but it gradually morphed into the most incredible solo ever heard, as though God himself was shredding and his angelic choir was tearing it up along with him. Then I wake up and cannot remember any of it, and sadness returns.

Got married in August and we hired a photographer who took us to Albert Bridge for some photos. A couple of people in their cars in traffic on the bridge called out their congratulations and told us we looked beautiful. Yeah, London can be ace.

A stranger asked me for directions. After I gave him them he said, "Here take this as thanks," and handed me the paperback book he was holding. Once it was in my hands and before I could respond he said, "it's shit." Then hurried off

Silently stood outside a theatre next to Wallace Shawn for a bit, nodded a polite hello to each other.
Entered a service station urinal at the same time Morrisey was leaving it.
Quietly shared an elevator with Lyle Lovett.

We're in the season during which any weird noises you hear outside can usually be explained by horny foxes shouting for attention.

For the next few days, if someone tries to claim they know with any certainty which day of the week it is, you can be assured they're a filthy liar.
