Everything they learned in Minnesota they’re applying in Maine from day one. They started off doing fast-moving snatch and grabs on the street, recording and using facial id on observers, and threatening observers directly. They’ll do it all where you live too.

Trump knows that Noem, Miller and Bovino have screwed this up as Trump sends in Homan to clean up the mess they made. This isn't a switch in policy, just personnel to put a friendlier face on it.

I've been among those scoffing but now: if people are terrified to just go -outside-, yeah that could well depress turnout in targeted areas quite a lot.

This is one of the things that I find is most shocking to people outside Minnesota who don’t realize it yet—the scale at which everyone who isn’t white has been forced into a spectrum of hiding.

True everywhere, tbh. I live in a rural area in Scotland and every single charity/fundraiser/community action/awareness program is staffed by women 60+ who have been doing this stuff for decades because nobody else will.
I think @sarahjeong.bsky.social said it's because they devalue women's labor and a LOT of this Scary Logistics stuff comes from people who don't understand that basically all of the civic life they enjoy is created with the help of free labor, largely by women.
Tho I will say, in his defense, he's not the first person to be confused by how quickly the romance authors & readers can whip up finely tuned logistics out of nothing. 😂
