Unusual post for me. I feel the need to say that whatever one's politics, it is wrong for Labour-a Starmerite party now formally Red Flagged for genocide against transsexual people - to liken Nigel Farage to Mr Saville the child abuser.

I actually think it's worse than Section 28. We must not forget that trans people where also censored by section 28. The fact that we were making progress on LGBTQIA + rights just to have them reversed, is a bitter blow!
The government has just introduced a new Section 28 that will harm a generation of gender-nonconforming kids. New column by me (below).
I grew up under Section 28. I know the damage it caused. This will be a new darkness, with more silence and fear. Another blackout.

Don't call them Gender Critical. That's a name they've given themselves so their bigotry sounds more respectable.
They won't use our pronouns, so we shouldn't use Gender-Critical.

Happy last day of #Pride.
I just managed to finish this Pride scarf before the month is over.
A bit of a shame I wont be able to wear it until late Autumn/Winter but it'll be good to share Pride in the darker times of the year.
