I absolutely despise the trend of labeling recipes "sugar free" or "no sugar" when they are loaded with dates, maple syrup, honey, agave nectar, or whatever-the-fuck else that is loaded with sugar. I give a tiny slide to "no added sugar" because it at least admits other ingredients might be sugary.

Hmm. Dreamwidth has suddenly stopped using my external embedded font stylesheet (google fonts). I can load the stylesheet so it's not a broken link. In the mean time I added a font that I actually have installed to the various customizations so at least it's not ugly for ME anymore.

When I was a kid recipes for cookies were all "yield: 4 dozen". I just looked at a recipe today that had the audacity to say "yield: 10 cookies".
That seems like an awful effort-to-cookie ratio.

This skein of yarn is cursed.
One spot where a ply was underspun and THICK, 2 places where a ply broke, and 3 knots. The last of which was tied back skipping 2.5 segments in the color sequence. That one, of course, landed smack in the middle of the front of the sweater. 🧶# yarn #crochet

I am deeply envious of people that can sew a garment for themselves from one yard of fabric. Even a tee shirt takes a bit over a yard for me, and I'm not a tank top/cami sort of person. #sewing

woven/non-woven (woven/knit/other)
opaque/semi-opaque/translucent/sheer
I hate searching for stretch, bottom weight fabrics and getting pages of jersey when I need a woven. And I am not the translucent pants sort of person either.

I dunno, when your site explodes in size from people wanting a place that isn't Twitter, it seems like it'd be smart to get rid of people actively trying to turn the place into Twitter...especially when your userbase is made up of people provably willing to leave a place that becomes Twitter.
