I started to think "oh, I dodged that one" and then remembered why I stopped reading the Adept series. Now I have to wonder if I dodged it at all.

I know someone will say "well, it's a free pattern..." as an excuse, but it takes a lot of work to make a sewing pattern into a pdf to start with. Taking a minute or two to drop a line drawing/photo/sketch in there is not a huge added effort.

Mine are generically ageless "adults". Some are younger adults (Monster High, Wild Hearts Crew) others might be approaching middle age for their species (most of my BJDs), but generally I just don't think about it. The only canon ages I stick to are for characters I made.

I have similar hair and have had the best results with stacked bobs (asymmetric, I varied between collar bone and chin length at the longest) and pixies. I switched to shorter bobs and then pixies as my hair thinned.
