Trying to change birthrates is never progressive. Especially not in the USA, especially not now.
What's the claim here? BCBS is still a nonprofit, and they're functionally the same as the for profit ones. I don't see how the dots connect.

Dem leadership is inherently conservative anyway, but I do wonder if they are reluctant to follow the popular mood because of the Yglesias et al take that Harris lost in 2024 because of leftish positions from the 2020 primary.

If there's one empirical insight I'd want everyone to understand about American politics, it's this:
America's problems are solved problems. Just not here.
