And it is unfortunately extremely dangerous for someone to take the letter of the law to its logical conclusions, instead of its practiced one. Because the law in text is extremely punitive and not something you want to be subject to.

judge boasberg's contempt proceedings have been stayed by the dc circuit since april 18 👍
though the Journal doesn't indicate its sourcing, this is the most direct reporting i've seen that Miller was responsible for defying Judge Boasberg's order to turn around the El Salvador rendition flights (Axios said only that he and Noem orchestrated the flights)

Nothing sums up the state of affairs for transgender Americans quite like the US Supreme Court denying trans people life-saving healthcare at the same time that the Trump administration shuts down suicide prevention programs for LGBTQ people.

Breaking: The Trevor Project received a stop-work order last night on its contract with the national 988 suicide prevention hotline. The Trump administration is eliminating the option for LGBTQ callers to the hotline to press 3 and connect with someone who specializes in LGBTQ mental health.
