I will say again what my reporting at PROOF has established since 2021: What happened today in Caracas was a long time coming, and had nothing to do with drug trafficking, illegal immigration or undemocratic votes in South America. This happened because of who Donald Trump is and what he aims to do.

There are no circumstances under international or US law that will ever not make this an illegal act by a sitting US president.
