i was in middleschool for 9/11. in hs i watched ~2 seasons of x-files. i've been rewatching it recently && i just hit a s03 episode that namedrops INS inside of 6 minutes. i'm old enough to instantly know what INS means & was—& to be struck by not hearing or thinking of that acronym in a lifetime...
