Queen of pig torture.
It's fine as long as you televised it.
if anyone wanted to violently kidnap Starmer and prosecute him for something random in your country, I'm afraid there's nothing we'd be able to do to stop you, since he's a lawyer and he says that's fine as long as the head of state is unpopular enough

*Dream the impossible dream
*Fight the unbeatable foe
*Bear with unbearable sorrow
*Run where the brave dare not go
*Right the unrightable wrong
*Love, pure and chaste, from afar
*Try, when your arms are too weary,
*Reach the unreachable star
It's 2026.

Things many American school kids probably don't know how to do:

* Dial a rotary telephone

* Tell time from an analog clock

* Read or write cursive

* Decipher Roman numerals

* Navigate with a paper map or use a compass

* Balance a checkbook

TIL that the descendents of the Borgia family (of medieval Italian notoriety) run a chip shop in Dublin and claim credit for introducing the deep fried mars bar to Ireland.

Sometimes you can't decide whether to choke or punch a nazi, but it's OK, you've got two hands and two nazis.

‘Gender critical’ transphobes are now just openly advertising the fact they want to be the genital inspector Karen! 😆

They’re so immersed in their own transphobic hate bubble, they don’t even realise how bad this makes them look!

Ron Tiner(RIP)'s Figure Drawing Without a Model is an excellent introduction to imaginitive illustration (you can get it cheap off ebay)
The Disney Comic Strip Artist's Kit is also a great nuts and bolts guide: share.google/YaOq8WAi6TpX...

Someone called me a misogynist for saying that Lauren Sanchez looks terrible.
What’s the funniest reason someone got mad at you on Bluesky this year?

as I often say: imagine how much the 20th-best drummer in your city makes, and then compare that to what the 200th-best marketing manager makes
The average professional artist (and I’m talking getting paid literally anything for their art) has a skill set that is rarer, harder to do, and that takes longer to master than any middle management type you’ve ever met, but those do-nothing dipshits can make six figures with no one getting upset.
"You shouldn't make art for the money" buddy I'll take it one step further and say we shouldn't have to labor for capital at all but in the meantime pay an artist

The most recent Shaun the Sheep special suggests that the Shaun who appeared in A Close Shave is actually a parallel universe version of the character meaning that the Wallace and Gromit stories take place in a different dimension.

I will, most likely, retain this knowledge to my dying day.
