Also I watched Pink Flamingos (1972) for the first time last night and now I get it.

Of all the sounds one might hear early in the morning, perhaps my least favorite would be repetitive scratching.

Investigation when it's lighter, then likely a call to pest control.

I am up to 165 hours of radio broadcasts, primarily KHJ and KROQ. When I find KITS files from the mid- to late-80s I am especially happy because that was my station.

It's fun to vacation in the past. Now I get all the old folks listening to their CD collections of Glenn Miller and whatnot.

"What if one of YOUR favorite politicians/celebrities/etc is on the list?" Did you all not notice how quickly we dropped Neil Gaiman when we found out about the things he did? Do you know how beloved that guy used to be and how loathed he is now? I think that right there should answer your question.

The union is asking that you not patronize any Starbucks, even ones that aren't unionized, for the duration! Time to find your new favoriteocal coffee shop. To donate to their strike fund: sbworkersunited.org

RE starbucks picket line--the relevant detail is "picket line, do not cross." Pass that along. Proclaiming that you are in no danger of doing so because you are too aesthetically pure to let Starbucks coffee pass your lips is...unhelpful and does not give the impression you perhaps imagine it does.

He's right. 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘈𝘳𝘦 𝘔𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘴 (2013) deserves FAR more good attention.

It has all the things that make zombie movies potentially great, without the thing that makes them bad (they inevitably try to have fun with gun violence; this one doesn't, at least not yet, with 30 minutes to go).
My brother recommended the horror movie There Are Monsters (2013) and friends it was just wonderful. Unsettling and freaky. Jumpscares aplenty, but also pure creepiness.

One of the toughest parts of interviewing is the period afterwards when you stress about how you did. Let it go let it go.
