Remember: Telling lies that everyone knows are lies is a classic tactic of dictators to force their followers to side with them over the truth itself…

But the public will not be gaslit.

We will continue to spread the truth…

Ignorance is the handmaiden of tyranny.

The administration is now arresting journalists, an outcome so many had warned against, a clear before/after step in the authoritarian project; one that we should all recognize.
Don Lemon and Georgia Fort both have every right to practice their craft, protected by the first amendment in doing so.

The arrests of journalists Don Lemon and Georgia Fort are a test for every MSM member with a platform. If you are not voicing your outrage at this blatant violation of the First Amendment, you are utterly discredited as a journalist.

This is Georgia Fort as she’s being arrested by federal agents. Apparently, they had a grand jury indictment in hand. She was arrested for being an independent journalist who filmed the Cities Church protest.

Remember that in addition to arresting reporters, the regime deported journalist Mario Guevara after detaining him while covering No Kings Day protests.

“His imprisonment is among the longest for any reporter arrested in connection with their work as a journalist in United States history.”

Liam is in ICE custody and his health is deteriorating.

Joaquin Castro says Liam is depressed, lethargic, sleeping excessively and barely eating, repeatedly asking about his mom, and when he can go home. He’s withdrawn and not the bright preschooler he was just days ago.

40 years ago today, we lost seven heroes aboard Challenger. As an astronaut who commanded the space shuttle after this tragedy, I think about them often. Their courage pushed the boundaries of exploration. Today, we remember their sacrifice and the legacy they left behind.

As far as I know, Tom Suozzi here still does not have a primary challenger in his district (NY-3 on Long Island).

The filing deadline is April 6 for the primary on June 23, and if there's a remotely progressive town council member or PTA president in that district, this is the time to make a move.

While independent bookstores are giving out free whistles, hosting protest sign making events, and donating proceeds to mutual aid, Amazon is *checks notes* providing technology that assists ICE in their terrorizing of communities.

Independent bookstores deserve your support. Amazon does not.

This giant ICE Army they are building this year is also likely to be at polling places during the midterms in heavily Democratic precincts with the excuse being that they are looking for “illegals trying to vote.”

Criminalizing protest is a hallmark of repression. This case isn’t isolated. It’s part of a broader effort to silence dissent and erode democracy.

But despite the administration’s best efforts, we’re going to win.

ICE activity has not noticeably tapered off yet here and in fact this week they seem to be focused on terrorizing kids at bus stops and schools.
yes, there are no real signs of any big change in DHS activity here yet. In Chicago there really was after Bovino left and they basically ended "Midway Blitz" not so here so far.
I don’t know, declaring victory in MN seems premature. They’re still arresting people and brutalizing the community. The changes appear—so far—to be cosmetic
