Writer/artist maintaining public gallery/studio because madness should be a spectator sport. Avid journaler, poet & essayist. Advocate for women, arts, cats, & love. My muse anchors me or I’d stay in these clouds. He’s cute—cooks, & gardens.

What a complete and utter fool… he thinks he is boss of everybody… what a miserable old man he is…

Because the skies are less crowded due to the decrease in air traffic resulting from the government shutdown, this would be a good time for the Rapture to occur.

I don't know when I'll write it up, but among the things Rudy Giuliani got pardoned for is destroying the lives of Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss.

Funny how memory is. On last post I forgot that Joseph’s poem was actually entitled “Warning” & it was first line of the poem that Sandra chose for title of the anthology. I still have my rejection letter from
applying to the anthology. I thought Sandra signed it but someone else did. #writing

One of my favorite people in the whole world! Editor Sandra Martz! Not sure who remembers poem made very famous by a little known poet here, Jenny Joseph, “When I Am an Old Woman I Will Wear Purple.” Sandra was the woman behind those wonderful anthologies published by Paper Mache press. #writing

So fun to know old film rolls from fifties and sixties are being processed transferred from Kodak film to flash drives. Still time to get them by Christmas I think if you drop off soon at an Everpresent location near you!

Trying to starve people at Thanksgiving & Christmas time as winter sets in seems to indicate our Republican friends did not even read Dickens. Who goes to court to be Scrooge? GOP’s resounding defeat on Tuesday seems to strengthen their resolve to be as Hitleresque as possible. Why? Why?
I’m just saying, but if I had just gotten completely shellacked on Tuesday, I wouldn’t be asking SCOTUS to let me starve millions of people 3 days later.

I love that museum. I visited a while ago when they had 40 small white houses around Amherst with her poetry lines on them. Was there prior to visiting an old friend in Maine for the last time who was to turn 100 that summer. Sadly, he died 10 days shy and lived a wonderful life for 99 and 355 days.
The Heritage Foundation has given the Emily Dickinson Museum (@emilydickinson.bsky.social) a C in its new guide to historic sites nationwide because events at the museum reportedly "celebrate abortion, homosexuality, and a whole host of progressive causes," so anyway, sounds cool, I'll be visiting
