This entire article points out that there is no plan. His own Treasury Secretary says he doesn’t know anything about it. So why does media keep running these kind of headlines? He keeps making these Truth Social posts and media keeps running stories as if it is something real.

Unless Senate AND Congressional Dems produce text messages or emails to their colleagues saying, “Don’t do this, guys”. The presumption should be that they’re all in on it and should be primaried.
There is no political presumption of innocence. We don’t demand enough of politicians.

I’ve voted 7 times to reopen the government in a way that holds Trump accountable for his lawlessness and prevents a health care crisis.
I’m prepared to work toward a compromise, but this “deal” before us does not come close to meeting those terms. Voting NO.

The last 2 mornings I've tried "Morning Pages" where you fill up 3 pages by hand.
I've been surprised I've been able to write 3 pages on a single topic. Which isn't great, because it definitely is an indication of how far I've fallen into social media & decreased attention span.
It's been good

Someone should go there and show them the clips of Trump's Great Gatsby party. I bet they'd be so happy to know he's having fun.
This is the food distribution line at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas 11/7/25. This is what Trump doesn't want you to see.

Why I hate car problems (a 1st world problem)
Last night I took my car in to get the transmission checked. My wife was going to pick me up in her truck, but the battery was dead. We could get it jumped and I suspected a problem with the terminal.
Today I pull the battery to replace it.

Psst! Hey, Senate Dems, now would be a great time to demand concessions from GOP leadership.
Don’t end the shutdown unless they fully fund ACA, reverse the shutdown firings, undo some of the DOGE cuts, and have a vote to release the Epstein files.
You have leverage after last night. Use it.

Trump declares that Republicans have lost the shutdown. Absolutely zero reason for Dems to cave at this point

Americans want sane, stable leadership that is focused on lowering the cost of living.
People are already fed up with the chaos and corruption of the Trump administration.
Republicans should LISTEN and work with us to reopen government and save the ACA tax credits.

Folks - let them think this. I’ve spent 25 years doing campaigns - when you think like this after a loss like last night, you are doomed to lose again.

Today would have been my mom's 76th birthday (she's been gone for a shade over 16 years).
So I'm going to tell you 2 stories about her.
First, almost all of my bad driving habits came from her. She would talk to drivers (from the safety of her own car, of course).
