If ICE had anything to do with enforcing the law, they wouldn't be breaking our laws, attacking the innocent, letting people die, or be taking trophy photos of their victims.

Putin puppet Chump is weakening the United States by breaking our bonds with our longstanding allies.

The goal is to destroy NATO. But that won’t happen.

NATO will stand strong against the United States, which will plummet into the abyss that Putin created.

Also: @merkley.senate.gov dispelled folks of the notion that Congress will fix this.

It's us, y'all. The force of the people leveraging our power is what will fix this. GOP won't do their job unless they're afraid of us. Dem leadership has to be dragged to the line to defend it. It's us.

@merkley.senate.gov I didn't get to ask my question at your town hall today.

It was: there is insufficient and incapable leadership in the Senate Dems. They still want to fund ICE? What are you doing to secure leadership equipped to meet this moment and defend our safety and our rights?

The Virginia legislature today passed four constitutional amendments, all by day 3 of 2026 session:

—protect abortion rights
—repeal the same-sex marriage ban
—allow mid-decade redistricting
—greatly expand voting rights restoration.

These will all go to 2026 referendums.

Hey, so, a judge ruling against ICE in MN today actually does matter. Yes, these lawless out-of-control goons likely will violate her order. That isn't the point. Defending the rule of law means we don't cede any victory or give up any rights. Today, a judge defended those rights. It matters.

For folks in my comments today saying that this happened, therefore we will not get the Epstein files released: you don’t yet understand how to fight fascism. They don’t follow the law. That’s their whole schtick.

And we don’t let them get away with that. That’s our job.
For those asking why DoJ waited until a Friday to oppose the Special Master request by Massie and Khanna, it’s because the judge told them 3 days ago to file it by Friday.

#1 rule of effective resistance: we defend those targeted by the regime and we do not abandon them.

History will judge Chuck Schumer as entirely ill-equipped for this moment. I try my best to see the good in our party leaders because I understand we're in uncharted territory, but it is beyond obvious he's the wrong person for the job.
The incredibly lukewarm Democratic response on Greenland is being noticed in Europe, incidentally.

Chuck Schumer not finding a stronger word than “quixotic” for Trump’s plan to seize Greenland has been name checked to me more than once.
But Americans who want to save the alliance with Europe must have no illusions about how bad a condition this transatlantic partnership is in.
