That columnist reminds me of my idea for doing list features like "10 cars you've never heard of!" and filling it with Porsche 911s and Fiestas and Golfs and writing as if the author has only just discovered them. Or "Did you know the French made cars?", that kind of thing.

Rallye continues to show up every other car I've owned by sailing through another MOT. Windscreen has slowly been collecting stone chips and the tester has finally noticed, but none have turned into cracks.

Latest project from Theon Design is a carbon-bodied 964 in Ice Green Metallic (a classic Porsche shade).
Its 3.8-litre NA flat-six on throttle bodies makes 413hp at 7,600rpm.
Spec also includes 993 RS brakes, TracTive adaptive dampers and three-piece 18-inch split-rims.

The very uncharitable profits of JustGiving which takes fees, a cut of gift aid, and then asks donors for a tip! bit.ly/4nzZpDV much better to give directly to the charity, but if you do use JG always set tip to zero. But you can’t stop it snaffling some of the Gift Aid

Another Russian official has been found dead in Moscow.
The body of Alexander Fedotov, former chairman of the St. Petersburg Committee for Transport Infrastructure. Russians claim he committed suicide. He was discovered yesterday under the windows of the Sheraton Hotel at Sheremetyevo Airport.
