This is what I've been saying! Stop saying that you're hoping the courts will take care of it. They know the courts are going to hold them to account that's why they're trying to exhaust them to destruction.
increasingly obvious that the first big Enabling Act style push here is going to be the destruction and replacement of the federal court system. who knows if they'll succeed but that's the next base they're heading for

The press can only focus on one thing at a time. I wish they would focus on the things that could actually be changed with sweeping legislation as opposed to the things that will be controlled through but checks and balances that have survived.
I am really frustrated that the press is discussing the destruction of USAID as something that has happened rather than an illegal action that will likely be undone in two weeks when courts tell the world that it was illegal.

This is probably a big part of why he did it, but I think a bigger reason is pure impunity. He knows the media that matters to him won't care, there will be no professional consequences, nothing will matter to anyone but the people he lives to anger.
