Meet Peter, aka Pete-Pete or Petey! He’s just getting settled, so a bit unsure of things. I adopted him because he was getting stressed out from the cats in the prior home.
He’s very brave when he has a human nearby, and while he is acclimating faster than I expected, still needs some time.

My newly adopted cat arrives tomorrow! Very excited! My cat acclimation pen (aka my bathroom) is all set up with food, litter, water, a scratching place, some clothing with my scent, and a place to hide to introduce him to my home.

Finally finished Star Trek: Lower Decks and honestly? As a fan of TNG/DS9/VOY, it really did feel like it fits in that era of Trek, albeit leaning into the absurd (because honestly if you take off the stoic veneer of Patrick Stewart/Avery Brooks/Kate Mulgrew, a lot of old Trek is pretty absurd).

In other Google Drive shenanigans, apparently their APIs have no checksum, and even getting the file size is inconsistent because it seems to include the metadata so it’s a different value when copied to a different drive?
I’m getting the impression they’re not actually good at writing filesystems…

The fact Google has no way built in of migrating from a personal drive to a shared drive in an org or a built in way to copy folders from the UI makes me wonder how they’re even a serious organizational tool.

My office is having a flu shot clinic which is great, but it doesn’t include the COVID shot which is super annoying. I can just go to the pharmacy and get both instead *shrug*.
I guess if it means some people get _something_ then yeah, better than nothing.

Gonna be interesting when the big AIs who are adding adult content run into the payment processors who are aggressively restricting payment for adult content.
I hate that it’ll make me defend AI but it’ll definitely be wild seeing who wins that fight :/
