Went to see MI Final Reckoning and it's such a weird send off to the series. The callbacks to previous movies were fine and I felt they wanted to do some fun stuff at some point but midway there's a heel turn and it becomes Under Siege 3.

Just a reminder that if you follow @aimod.social you can see which accounts are using AI, so you can do whatever you want with that information (and also tag accounts yourself). It allows you to customize and toggle what you want to be notified about which takes the form of a banner (see image 2).

Putting this out there: I'm looking for a pixel artist for some paid prototype work. Mostly early interface or character/monster portrait with early 90s RPG feels.

I've had an idea in my head about the gameplay concept "what is the gig economy was fun and rewarding?". It's a fantasy game.

My gamedev company - Moonana - is currently going bankrupt slowly after 7 years of hard work and being able to pay all staff (an indiedev miracle). We've made a christmas game to thank our fans over the years and say our goodbyes worse comes to be. This is a thread on our history & our newest title.

If you want to see men act like their fundamental rights are being taken over by government laws, see the comments on car reviews about how cars now beep by default when you go over the speed limit.

I'm guessing this is some sort of "ea" ligature + the styling used for the foil mockup rendering but now I can only read Dag Gerhfart on the cover.

Last night I repurposed a tablet running owlbear rodeo to create a self revealing map, the players enjoyed the fact it was still a physical object they could pass around and fiddle with.

president lex luthor knew that there was an alien plot to destroy the planet and did nothing so that he could use the war to further his own purposes later on

THIS STORY RAN ON 2001
I miss thinking that Lex Luthor being elected president of the United States was the stupidest, most far-fetched plot device that hack comic book writers could come up with.

Instead of thinking it's a comparatively positive vision of US politics.

Thinking about how 10 years ago Nintendo wouldn’t approve The Binding of Isaac for the Wii U and now you can’t even browse the eShop without your console overheating from displaying 4,000 titles with names like “101 Ecchi Puzzles -The Panty-Slayer Mysteries UNTOLD-“

LLMs are essentially gatcha machines
There's something I need people to understand.

The studio that made this released some numbers. They had to produce 85 minutes of footage to find 15 usable seconds for this ad.

The machine that creates moving images out of nothing has a failure rate of 340:1 and the best 15 seconds... is this.

Been racking my brain all night with this computer prop in the Mission Impossible '89 reboot series. It doesn't look like something built, albeit I think the screen is fake or a border was added around the real screen (see the cutout on the left side)
