Having the below german-designed microwave with its minimalist, cryptic UX, I also really feel this was designed to be used for a completely different purpose. For example out of six "buttons" there is a dedicated one to set the clock. Not the timer, the standby clock.

Been racking my brain all night with this computer prop in the Mission Impossible '89 reboot series. It doesn't look like something built, albeit I think the screen is fake or a border was added around the real screen (see the cutout on the left side)
