PSA: twitter, X, is doing new terms of service that basically make it so that any comtent you share on there including DMs and photos is theirs and they can use it for "any purpose" including commercial use.

So, if you have a page you’ve left up and don’t want them there’s time to act 1/

Because I left Twitter, folks can't see my history of advocacy for this. In every session 0, I ask what your character would risk their life for. That’s exactly what adventuring is. So why would you do it? What's more important than your own life? Your answer drives the conflict and sets stakes.
Reframing my GM mindset from “challenge comes from threatening the PCs’ lives” to “challenge comes from threatening their goals” has made my experience at the table more fun.

The tension can come from the chance of them completing their goals rather than the possibility of death.

Decolonising the Dungeon Crawl---

Like everything else re: decolonisation and TTRPGs discourse, this is a solved problem. There's only metric that matters:

How many creators from the colonised world are participating in and able to make a living from their games?

That's *it*.

Does your New Year's Resolution have anything to do with GMing, becoming a game master, or finally taking the leap into learning how?

What if I told you that you could achieve it by early February with New Gamemaster Month?
