JFC I've heard that Fetterman is considering supporting the SAVE act. It's a disaster of a bill that would create sweeping disenfranchisement.

I like to remind them that I can focus on multiple issues in hopes they abandon the "well the news cycle moved on so I should too" mentality

All I can think of is the story of the company that put AI in charge of managing their vending machine and it quickly spiraled into chaos. Can't wait to see how long this takes to reach the same level

Awesome thank you and rhe carabiner hack is such a good idea! I've been holding out trying to find a long leash with one as the built-in clasp like her regular 6ft leash, but it never occurred to me I could just add my own haha

Also, just curious, what kind of leash did you get? I've been looking for a longer leash because my hound is not good off leash but I'd like to give them more freedom while still staying safe, and retractables just don't cut it imo

A) is it still hype if they're putting out ads begging people to use it and forcing it into places users didn't want it?
B) LLMs are still putting out dangerously inaccurate & harmful misinformation that continues to cause deaths. Why would I get behind reckless tech that was built off theft?

The other thing this video doesn't touch on is that if you ask the children to explain their animal, you will likely get a detailed history, and ecological overview of habitat, behaviors, likes/dislikes, etc. AI will just give you a soulless description of a soulless creation
