It’s kinda funny that everyone seems to think my game is heavily Persona inspired when in reality very little is consciously referencing it. The battle portraits come from P3/4 but that’s kinda it.
(I know it’s meant as a positive thing though!)

Found some old gifs of my game that I figured I'd share in case I ever loose them.
This is the first prototype I made in Godot, dated 22/12/2023.
Originally the game was supposed to have sprites in 3D like Breath of Fire 3 but I realized pretty quick I wasn't good enough at drawing them.

Okay I know my battle system architecture is sound cause I just implemented a boss with funky mechanics and it only took a couple of very chill hours to throw together
Looks like crap because I’ve done none of the graphics for it yet but it all WORKS which is the main thing

a liiiittle update. Been playing with the lighting but I don't really know what I'm doing, never really poked around in game engines before this so it's trial and error! I'm using the Godot engine which I'm enjoying a lot.
