Did this fun commission towards the end of 2025. Simon and Kirby’s creation The Guardian and my Gangbuster! I created GB because DC didn’t let us use Guardian when I first started drawing Superman. They had the Kirby stuff planned for the first post reboot Superman annual.

Here’s a complex commission done a few years back of Superboy Prime with Krypto. These take a lot out of me, because I hate using white correction fluid on a piece for a fan. So the further you get, the more pressure:)

35 YEARS AGO TODAY - ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN #476, Triangle Issue 1991-8 is released.

Begins one of my favorite arcs, TIME AND TIME AGAIN. This is also the first time writer/penciller Dan Jurgens and inker Brett Breeding are paired as a regular team on a book. #TriangleEra35

This story really was inspired by a scene Frank Miller wrote in Daredevil, where Captain America proclaims his allegiance to what the flag stands for rather than blind allegiance to leaders.

Adventures of Superman #517 (November 1994)

"DEAD AGAIN!" Part 3! Superman fights a villain called Deathtrap and, oh yeah, finds out he himself is dead. Quite a morbid issue, really.

1994 Green Lantern-Related Elseworlds
Featuring the one where Batman is a Green Lantern and the one where Green Lantern is a Nazi! It's very, very stupid.

35 YEARS AGO TODAY - ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN #475, Triangle Issue 1991-5 is released.

The issue - with a VERY misleading cover - is written and drawn by Dan Jurgens. Art Thibert inks Dan for the final time until 1999’s treasury-sized SUPERMAN/FANTASTIC FOUR

A TON since my collection is a mess of sometimes overlapping Mexican/Spanish/Argentinian/US editions, but one I intentionally rebuy every chance I get is Adventures #445, Jerry Ordway's first as full writer/artist, which really sets the tone for the whole "Triangle Era". Top notch storytelling.

An excellent list, but I feel compelled to add a few more baldies (not to be confused with Baldies) from this era: the marvelous looking Atomic Skull, the thoroughly waxed and glistening Bloodthirst, keyboard-smashing Hfuhruhurr, and of course freakin' Psi-Phon (and arguably Dreadnaught).
