Maybe Don’t Talk to the New York Times About Zohran Mamdani
It’s remarkable, the people you’ll hear from. Teach for even a little while at an expensive institution—the term they tend to prefer is “elite”—and odds are that eventually someone who was a studen…

Something very very weird happened during the Hugos award ceremony... It's been on my mind for days, and so I wrote this blog: "When People Giggle at Your Name, or the 2025 Hugo Awards Incident"

People imagine picking up and finding *something better* is an easy solution. But how is that supposed to work, when all your time and energy goes to staying alive? You have almost nothing to set aside to actually fight your way out.

This is MY MAYOR MAMDANI
In the words of Nelson Mandela: it always seems impossible until it’s done.

My friends, it is done. And you are the ones who did it.

I am honored to be your Democratic nominee for the Mayor of New York City.

She was 9 weeks pregnant. She died. The state of Georgia is making the doctors keep her alive to incubate the baby. She’s been dead for three months. This is REAL. this isn’t about what should or should not be done. This is about having a VOICE. This is about having a CHOICE.

Here to say that we wouldn't exist without arts funding.

Not only would 1000xRESIST not exist without arts funding, we as artists who practiced for YEARS, trying to understand ourselves and our mediums would not exist without arts funding.

Fund the arts! All of them. Including games.
Canada subsidized 1000xRESIST
France subsidized Clair Obscur
Governments pay for lots of art
Normally
or arts funding. I’d take arts funding

Well, this was the most harrowing fucking thing I've ever had to work on, and I'm just the damn lawyer. Can't imagine the client living it, and it's a goddamn privilege to represent her.

DO NOT READ THIS unless you can handle details of some truly vile sexual abuse by Neil Gaiman.

Have been playing Citizen Sleepers 2 for 12 hours non stop. As I’m physically passing out right now I just want to say that it’s been an immensely satisfying experience playing this game. I love the first game to bits but I’m enjoying 2 even more. Bravos!!!
