It seems a plow hit gold Star blvd this afternoon. Some good news. Our snow muscles have not been stretched lately.

I appreciate local leaders speaking about about ICE. @King4Worcester and @RepMcGovern have been doing so all along. Would like to hear @MayorJoePetty and #WDCC weigh in on actions taken by WPD against Etel Haxhiaj and Ms Spring - disparaging our own good citizens.

‼️The Human Rights Commission recommends Chair Creamer’s motion that the City establish a Civilian Review Board and initiate a formal process to do so.‼️

👉Vote: 5-1 in favor. Fr. Jonathan Slavinskas votes against.

👉This is a great step forward and hopefully provides community momentum.

This is a good question. They separated the buses from the cars so this is why it’s moving faster because cars no longer need to stop the whole time the buses are loading. I wonder if they’ve had an in person meeting with the people doing pick-up.

Thank you Mark. Am always appreciative of your support and constructive dialogue.

It is fundamentally broken in you as a human if you describe a human being handcuffed on the ground and being shot in the back many times as "man shot in confrontation with authorities." as most mainstream media headline writers are doing.

Matt. The city manager. The Cheif and the mayor should all be publicly making it clear that all charges should be dropped against Etel and Ashley. It’s simply the only thing to do and to keep quiet and not speak out loud about this injustice is as bothersome to me as all the other injustices
Worcester Police is trying to lock a former city councilor up for daring to protect her neighbors, her constituents, her fellow human beings

Police aren't the solution

For like... anything
Please do not expect that local police anywhere will ever arrest an ICE agent in the field or prevent ICE from inflicting violence on anyone.

No coordination must be permitted between ICE and local police.

No clawed-back ICE money should ever go to local police.

There were over 500 community and unions this afternoon in Dorchester for the Rally in Solidarity with MN strike. About 20 of us from Worcester went in the Neighbor2Neighbor bus. I didn’t take pics bcs I was 100% focused in the energy of speakers: all impacted people. We gotta do more.

As we go thru yet another round of directionless, ambient grievance airing about Roosevelt school pickup time congestion ‘issue’ remember Aislinn called it in her September WPS in Brief and all of this criticism remains true lol @aislinn.bsky.social www.worcestersucks.email/p/wps-in-bri...

ICE is beyond reform. And today the House is voting to bankroll more terror. Hell no.

Our fabulous Jen Davis Carey was the keynote speaker at 41st annual MLK Jr Community breakfast at Assumption. She created a community experience of readings from history it was powerful and meaningful. I adore her. This moment in our country feels like a precipice to me ❤️🙏🏼

Moe or Satya?
It's also unaccaptable for the Chair of Economic Development to characterize citations by the Dept. of Labor as "allegations". He should be acting with urgency on behalf of workers and Worcester taxpayers.

Nice to see Molly’s article. One comment -

“Our children do not benefit from political theater or entrenched positions.”

In my opinion our children benefit when we tell the truth of the danger and severity of the times - as we see this week.
Opinion/Guest column: For Worcester's schools, kids come first
Every decision we make, every vote and every budget line should be measured by a simple question: Does this help Worcester’s students succeed?
