“I’ve known Todd as a friend for 19 years,” said Westerlind, who previously had worked part-time at The Candy Shoppe. Both Willette and Westerlind also worked at Hebert Candies in Shrewsbury when it was family owned. Willette opened the Millbury candy shop after Hebert’s was sold.
