Seems unfair that you only get to use the bouncy slide to get off a plane when things have gone wrong. The bouncy slide should be a treat they give to the best passengers who did the flight correctly.

Nothing quite like discovering a leak under your kitchen sink right as you’re packing to leave for a 11 day trip.
Turned the water off and asked our neighbor looking after the cat to keep an eye on it. I don’t trust the landlord to take care of it while we’re gone and not let the cat out.

Finished up some freelance boarding last week, and unexpectedly got a chance to do some inbetweening work this week, on paper no less! Feeling a little rusty and missing my old studio set up, but feels good to be flipping paper again.

Last doggy update: Eric/Whiskey's page went down yesterday after being updated to show he was with a foster for a few days before that. I can only hope that means good things and he has found a family to love and care for him. I hope he's being showered with love and affection every day now!

I’ve been more active in Nextdoor due to the Whiskey business (heh) and there’s one user that keeps posting surrendered pets that are up for adoptions and shaming their previous owners and it’s driving me nuts.

Whiskey is now under the care of the Pasadena Humane Society! There‘a a 5 day hold while they give time for his owners to claim him. After that he’ll be available for adoption, and if that happens I’ll share that info here!

Woke up crying from a dream where i took Whiskey to the humane society and they just assumed I wanted to put him down because he’s so hopeless.
Then in real life went to take him outside to find that he is definitely not crate trained, which slims his odds even more.
today’s gonna suck.

A lot of articles about what to do when finding a lost pet say not to judge the previous owners based on what you see in the pet now, but god is it not hard to do in this case.
