Pentre Ifan Dolmen, Pembrokeshire is a collection of seven stones. The largest is the huge capstone, estimated to weigh 16 tonnes which rests on the tips of three other stones, some 2.5 m off the ground.

Caerleon amphitheatre. Built in AD90, it held up to 6000 spectators. It's an amazing feeling walking down the ancient steps. The third photo shows an alter, where a small statue of a god or goddess was placed, so the gladiators could worship before a fight! 🏟️

I always love visiting Little Haven nature reserve, something special about it and the way the trees frame the path 🙂
View down the old railway line. Wide path littered with autumnal leaves and fallen apples. Tall trees leaning in over the path some still with green leaves. Blues skies with white clouds filtering through the tree branches.

Remembering the Welsh Poet Dylan Thomas ..born this day on 1914 , this is Laugharne Castle , not far from me , where he wrote a lot of his work , it belonged to a friend who let him use a room in the castle wall over looking the Taf Estuary to write in when there was too much chaos at home
