Submitted THE BISCUIT THIEF to my publisher. A good way to end this year, which turned out to be one of my most productive writing years ever, somewhat to my surprise! :-) #booksky

Pretending to play the guitar. You can tell it's pretence because if you look at the chord I have formed you will perceive that it's E Flat Major Minor Sharp, and there's no such chord 🎵🎶🎵

The first of my self-published paperbacks to sell 1000 copies did so just a few minutes ago. And the ebook has sold exactly 200, making 1200 in total. Not great figures by any means, but for self-pub with little or no promo, I personally am pleased 🙂 #booksky

Finished writing THE BISCUIT THIEF. Normally I don't do any writing on Xmas Day but as I only had the epilogue to complete I decided to get it done. I am really pleased with the way the novel has turned out. No more writing for the rest of the year! Happy Christmas to you all :-) :-) #booksky #Xmas

Almost finished THE BISCUIT THIEF. I only have the epilogue to write. So that will be my third full-length novel of the year. Phew! This is an extremely daft book but I also think the plot holds together very well. I mean, it's very tightly plotted but the plot is utterly ridiculous :-) #booksky

A microfiction for Xmas. It is about vampires 😊 #flashfiction

Borrowed this from the library just now, the third part of a loose trilogy, so that's my Xmas reading sorted out. It looks like a difficult read, but let's see how it goes 😊 #booksky

What if the monolith in 2001: A Space Odyssey is just one of those black "redacted" oblongs and the whole film is a big cover up?

The ebook edition of my first collection of flash fiction is free for the next five days. This is a book that, to my surprised delight, Samuel Delany praised. Anyway, it's available on any Amazon platform, but this is the link to Amazon US... #booksky #freebooks

I know a guy who is writing a big book about tornadoes and hurricanes. It's only a draft at the moment 😊

Published six years ago, a big collection of my relatively early horror, dark fantasy and gothic short stories. I think I was trying to look a bit like Roger Delgado circa 1973 in this photo 👻💀💡😊 #booksky

In Tregaron, one of the bases of the 16th Century outlaw Twm Siôn Cati. Last year I hiked to his cave hideout near Rhandirmwyn. The road that connects the two places is one of the most scenic in Wales. Oh yes, here's a ghost story I wrote set on that road... 👻😊

Exactly one year ago I finished writing my DABBLER IN DRABBLERS sequence. All four volumes contain exactly 1000 drabbles. A sensible person would have used those 100,000 words in a novel. Not me, I'm not very sensible. So there you have it. DABBLER IN DRABBLES is one year old! :-)

I know you probably aren't stuck for Christmas gift ideas... but if you were, I reckon this is a nice book. Published by Eibonvale Press, it's a science fiction romp in deep space. Now available in paperback as well as hardback. I could certainly do with some sales 😊 #Xmas #books #SF #booksky

Published exactly three years ago...

Most of the Megapack list is filled with writers from the first half of the 20th century, such as Fredric Brown, Ray Bradbury, Fritz Leiber, Robert E. Howard, etc.

My own collection is the ebook I usually cite as the best intro to my fiction :-) #booksky

I am reading a history book about communism in America in the 1950s. To get the most out of it, this is one of those volumes that should be "read under the bed".

I know you probably aren't stuck for Christmas gift ideas... but if you were, I reckon this is an entertaining book (even if I say so myself). Published by Recital Publishing, it's a collection of flash fictions arranged in sets and subsets. I certainly need some sales 😊 #Xmas #booksky #fantasy

Began reading this today and was hooked after the first paragraph. To be fair, it's a substantial paragraph, the way I tend to like them. I have been told that David Lodge is like Kingsley Amis, but so far his style has been vastly better than Amis', more akin to Anthony Burgess in fact 😊 #booksky
