A year after her announcement, I remain absolutely thrilled with @peggyflanagan.bsky.social as my candidate for U.S. Senate. She‘ll be a great successor to Tina Smith and, before her, Al Franken, some asshole, and Paul Wellstone. She believes in politics as being about improving people’s lives.

This is one of my first concerns. They have so much money they can send all the out-of-town agents home yet still keep (or hire) a residual force that‘s 3-4 times what was here. Enough to keep doing terror at scale.
Reminder that just 2 weeks ago, an agreement was signed for ICE/DHS to house 500-800 agents at Fort Snelling.
So drawdown? Maybe. Going away? I remain incredibly skeptical.

Minnesotans are traumatized, businesses have been decimated, entire communities have been in hiding and the educational and emotional cost to our children is immeasurable. There will be so much relief after these violent goons leave our streets but it will take a long time to rebuild.
