It's like ICE is completely ignoring every lesson that moderately competent police forces are forced to learn, like "don't do high speed chases in densely populated areas with low risk targets"

“False herring” is stupid, but the most dishonest & manipulative word here is “now.” As if this is some novelty. But warrants for entering homes, like cops who show their faces & badges, is how we’ve done things for 250 years. The radical novelty is suggesting we STOP doing these things.

A garbage, biased take from the Times. Exactly like their b.s. takes on Mamdani. Directly related to their both-sidesing and constant normalization of Trump. They do good journalism sometimes. But this is infuriating and reminds of their prevailing biases.
