Whatever anyone's issues with the BBC, we should all be afraid when those who are dishonest to their core manage to bully and control it.
“When I was [at the BBC], at the height of Boris Johnson’s strength, that fear was ubiquitous. Scripts were sometimes written with a view not solely to their impartiality or truth, but the management of perception of impartiality from one side of the spectrum.“ @lewisgoodall.com

Whole fucking thing makes me sick to my stomach. An abject fucking liar, a man who lies as easily as he fucking breathes, threatening an organisation which strives for truthfulness. And plastic patriots like the Mail and Farage urging him on. Jackels.

By-Election Result analysis: Stirling East (2025)

The SNP score an easy win in a ward they'd already beaten Labour in last year, giving them every seat in the ward and almost certainly control of the council.

The Telegraph had to correct its multiple lies about "illegal immigrants" in London at least three separate times.
It takes an obscene amount of hubris to lecture the BBC when you have The Telegraph’s record on truth-telling.

Some of the paper’s errors this year are so bad they’re almost laughable 👇🏻

This is well worth a listen.
Farage & Gill are one. No wonder Nigel is rattled and calling press conferences at a rapid rate to change the subject.

(If you're short of time skip it to 14:30 & listen for 2 mins.)
A look at Nathan Gill and his treasonous activities following an almost accidental interview with Polly Weston in 2020.
Contains some typical Farage hogwash smoke and mirrors denials. I really don’t understand why this hasn’t dominated the headlines.

Farage is a genuinely repulsive human
The CURRENT sitting MP for Clacton earns £511,000 as a presenter for GB News and took £281,000 as a brand ambassador for Direct Bullion.

So maybe sit this one out, you rancid herring.

Like why would the bbc need to ‘balance’ its cover of the US in this way?

When the BBC covers, say, Xi critically should it also run a programme dedicated to the CCP’s achievements?

Absolutely right. I criticise BBC News, because we need it to be as good as we know it can be. People like Farage criticise the BBC, because they work for its competitors and don't want it to exist.
🎯 Davey is spot on. "We can have criticism of the BBC, but within that, we need to recognise how valuable an institution it is [and how] precious to our country. And that's one of the reasons why people like President Trump and Nigel Farage, want to undermine the BBC." 👏🏽~AA

Once every 20 years or so, the director-general of the BBC is forced to resign for being insufficiently rightwing. Alastair Milne in 1987. Greg Dyke in 2004. Tim Davie in 2025. The great irony is that the BBC was in all cases profoundly biased towards established power. But just not biased enough …
